Greg Murr grew up in Kingston and married a hometown girl, Margaret Pickel, in 1982. They have two children, Justin and Jacob, and are all members of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Kingston. In addition to his church youth activities, Greg has been a coach and assistant coach in youth baseball and football for the past 14 years. Greg enjoys being around the youth. He says that it is easy to give up when no one encourages you along the way and Greg wants to be that encouragement.

His hobbies include hunting and fishing. At his happiest moments, you’ll find Greg outside; he loves to watch the sun come up in the mornings.

Greg has worked at Tennessee Department of Transportation since 1979; he is an expert in Asphalt and Concrete.
